Zack Mullock

Zack Mullock is born-and-raised in South Jersey. He’s a husband, father of three, mayor, and small business owner who has spent his career focused on serving his community.
Zack attended Cape May Elementary School & is a graduate of Mount Saint Mary’s University and obtained an MBA at Saint Joseph’s University.
Growing up in South Jersey taught Zack the values of hard work, strong communities, and looking out for one another. Those principles have shaped his approach to public service. From strengthening infrastructure and public safety to supporting small businesses and protecting the shore communities that drive the region’s economy, Zack has focused on practical solutions that improve people’s everyday lives.
Under Zack’s leadership, Cape May built a new Fire House, Library, Community Center, and Theater, expanded Lifeguard Headquarters, began construction on a new Police Station and Desalination Water Plant, and made major investments in infrastructure, all without raising taxes for six years.
Before becoming mayor, Zack served on Cape May City Council and the Historic Preservation Commission. Beyond elected office, he served as volunteer general contractor for the Harriet Tubman Museum and helped found the Cape May Point Arts and Science Center. As a member of the Atlantic Cape Community College Foundation Board, he has helped raise more than $1 million in scholarships for local students pursuing higher education.
Zack lives in Cape May with his wife, Justine and their three children Bobby, Tallulah, and James.
